Network Spinal Analysis (NSA)

NSA is a gentle chiropractic technique that focuses on re-organizing a person’s nervous system so as to allow greater healing capabilities in addition to greater experiences of life, joy and health.

NSA has 3 levels of care and 4 seasons of Living. They are often associated as in the following:

Level of Care
Season of Living
Level 1 (recuperative care)
Discover
Level 2 (corrective care)
Transform
Advance Care (wellness care)
Awaken

Intergration

Levels of Care

Level 1 (associated with Recuperative Care):

Deals with the immediate concern of the individual. A greater awareness of the tension (pain) pattern in the body is developed so as to increase the natural ability to deal with the concern through learned strategies. Pain is perceived as a message that something is wrong; therefore, a focus on the cause and resolution of the problem is priority.

Level 2 (associated with Corrective Care):

Once we have alleviated the concern, we need to change the situation so that the problem does not reoccur. Sometimes, work habits, bad posture, stress responses need to be modified to allow for permanent resolution of the problem. With time, suspension of ‘stress anchors’ throughout the spine is achieved. This allows the individual to make different choices and not ‘react’ to old triggers.

Advance Care (associated with Wellness Care):

Once we have allowed ourselves to change old habits, and learn better self care, we can awaken to the amazing potential that we are. Whether it be great health, emotional happiness or peace of mind; they are all possible.

The Seasons of Healing and Living

The seasons of Living are often the ‘states’ we are in depending on what is going on in our body, mind and life. They can greatly enhance or hinder our healing and well~being.

The Season of Discover

In discover, we are focused on ourselves. We tend to be rigid in our body and our thinking. We tend to be hard with ourselves and even those around us. We may feel stuck, or feel like everything happens to us; a victim of life.

Discover can be a difficult place to be. It is not easy to feel happy when we feel a victim of life.

However, when we learn to discover, we can often find resolve in learning what has been going on. There is peace in the actual discovering process.

The Season of Transform

In transform, we look forward to change, to learning new things, to going beyond our boundaries. Our body and mind are flexible, willing to take in new view points, new ideas. We feel much more empowered because everything is a new prospect. There are no problems in ‘Transform’, only opportunities.

The Season of Awaken

In awaken, we do exactly that – awaken to our full potential. It does not mean our bodies are perfect, but that we see the glory of life and are grateful for it. We approach life with the heart first, then the mind. We want to share our joy and our passions. Our bodies and minds are able to expand to greater concepts, to peace within, to understanding the interconnection of all people; fuelling community and humanitarian interests.

The Season of Integration

We’ve all spent some time in each of these seasons. However, the first key is being able to recognize and work with whichever season you find yourself in at that time. The second key is finding congruency between the seasons of your physical, emotional and mental states.

Your physical body may be in discovery; while your emotional being might by in awaken. The discord between the two can create more problems than someone who has their physical, emotional and mental all in discovery or transform.

This is a unique approach that NSA offers ~ the ability to be in harmony. Which season do you tend to live in?
