Christine Ouellette
~Registered in Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture

Christine is a registered acupuncturist in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She received her training at EasternCollege in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is a member of the Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of Nova Scotia and the Canadian Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada.

In addition to her TCM training, Christine spent two years studying pre-medicine and holds a Bachelor and a Master degree of Science in Biology. She has worked for over 15 years as a research scientist in various centres investigating terrestrial and aquatic ecology with a special interest in human interactions with the environment. It is this background in scientific research and her extensive training in TCM that allows Christine to provide holistic consultative services to her patients.

"When I first experienced TCM acupuncture, I was able to acknowledge its efficiency and how well it complemented conventional and other alternative medicines. Over the years it became clear that there is a growing disconnection between humans and their environment. This fragmented way of perceiving ourselves in our environment can lead us not only to become internally imbalanced but also to create imbalance around us. I found the philosophy behind natural health care closely related to that of ecology; where a healthy environment is balanced in energy. Having studied in sciences further strengthened this belief and allowed me to develop a broader appreciation of the importance of various healing modalities. TCM Acupuncture is a very elegant medicine because of its ability to encompass the patient's uniqueness and needs." ~ Christine Ouellette
Christine is fluent in French and English and looks forward to offering her services in both languages.

Christine is available on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10am to 7pm; and also first Friday mornings of every month from 9am to 1pm.
